If you’ve recently bought a wake boat you’ll want to take a look at our helpful list of accessories below! If you’re still looking for your perfect model, feel free to stop by any of our 16 locations across the U.S. to grab your new wake boat today.

Safety Gear

Before you head out on your first outing you’ll want to make sure you’ve got all of the necessary safety gear on board. The most important piece of equipment you’ll need is a lifejacket for each passenger. These jackets should fit snugly and have the appropriate amount of buoyancy for each person’s swimming level. You’ll also want to be sure you have an emergency kit on board with first aid supplies, as well as a safety flag to warn other ships when passengers are in the water.

Surfing Gear

If this is your first wake boat, it’s likely you don’t have all the necessary surfing gear just yet. Before you take your vessel for a spin be sure to have a tow rope and wakeboard. There are 3 different types of wakeboards: surf, skim, or hybrid. These are based on the types of waves you plan to ride, however, a hybrid may be the best fit for you as a beginner. The size of these boards will also vary depending on your size and weight. Be sure to look up a helpful size chart before selecting your board!

Ballast Bags.

If you’ve had your wake boat for a little while but aren’t satisfied with the size of your waves or your surfing experience, it may be time to purchase a ballast bag. These are weighted bags you place on your boat to allow it to produce bigger, taller waves. You can choose between ballast bags filled with metal scraps, or fat sacs that can be emptied or filled with water at your convenience.
