Featured this month are Doug and Loree Thompson, Boulder Boats customers and water sports enthusiasts!

Starting as an aggressive slalom skier, Doug has shared his passion for water sports for more than 40 years. “I never thought I would own a boat, but I am blessed to be able to do so today,” says Doug. His journey into boat ownership started back in 1995. He had the opportunity to surf and decided to run full force into making waves and memories with his wife and kids.

"Randal, the Vandal, had his 2015 Axis A24 demo boat and had 17 hours on it in Henderson, so our family drove from Arizona to buy it on the spot. The boat didn’t come back to Arizona with us but ended up in the Boulder Boats parking lot Sunday morning. After the assurance the boat would be taken care of, we made my way back to Arizona. After receiving a call from Boulder Boats, we agreed on an excellent price and upgraded to a Malibu 22 MXZ".

This experience was the start of a truly great relationship between the Thompson Family and Boulder Boats. Fast forward to 2019 and two more Malibu boats later, Doug and his family enjoy a 2017 Malibu M235 out on Lake Roosevelt. “It is truly our family’s happy place,” says Doug. Spending time on the water with them is priceless and something that will continue beyond professional and college careers. Not to mention the number of friends we’ve met on the water. “More than anything, the service that we get from everyone at Boulder, Neil, and Steve especially, are truly two reasons why we will always refer to Boulder Boats.”
