Beginner - If you are just getting started, then these models will be sure to help you on your surfing journey. Great for learning to get up, and dialing in the basics.

SHIM

The Hyperlite Shim is one of the best all-around boards on the market. It also just so happens to be the most popular board in the Waterski America Pro Shop. This board accommodates to all levels of riding. It’s hybrid shape allows for ample control and stability, but a loose enough feel to learn your first 360. Perfect board for anybody who joins your lake party.

Oogle

Phase 5 has been making this board since the very beginning. A skimboard by nature that has a generous amount of surface area that allows for extra stability as you get used to that loose feel. The Oogle is a perfect board to learn on, and may end up being you “old reliable” as you build your quiver.

Intermediate – For those who are ready to take their riding to the next level

Ronix Parks Thruster

The Parks Carbon thruster takes what is best about a traditional ocean surfer and combines it with superior performance behind the boat. Its straighter, more narrow rails make this board very efficient and fast down the line while the increased nose rocker helps you lay into your bottom.

Hyperlite Automatic

The Automatic is the big brother to the shim. With its swallow tail and thinner traditional nose, this board is very fun and snappy on any wave. Its low profile and flatter rocker will help the board spin 360’s and shoves.

El Jefe

Another board straight from the Doomswell line-up, the El Jefe is nothing short of one of the most fun boards on the market. The Kong is a flat-out beast. The board itself is very durable with Phase 5’s gator skin protecting its hand shaped foam core. Get any rider dropping the rope on this board that will have no problem staying tucked into a Malibu’s wave.
